Projects

Customer Compass
Compass is a customer journey data analytics product that facilitates data analysts in their daily work. It identifies trends, processes, and bottlenecks by providing them with the ability to search customers’ data across the whole organisation. For this project, Mohamed not only designed and refactored the whole engine but also rewrote the engine search algorithm. This improved the Search engine runtime performance improved sixfold and reduced the engine's passive memory footprint by half.
Banking, Tyro Payments
Mohamed worked on this project to develop a banking application for Tyro Payments from inception to delivery. His work contributed to enriching the loan product by adding features such as delay instalments and assessing merchants’ credit profiles. His other work included implementing digital receipts using QR codes on terminals and initiating and facilitating uplifting sessions to move previously on-site Microservices onto the cloud.
