Winning Group - Payment Integration Project
Mainak single-handedly worked on a project to expand the payment integration capabilities of Winning Group. Previously, they could only handle credit card payments with online orders, which excluded them from the rapidly expanding client segment for ‘buy now, pay later’. By interacting with the various providers, such as Zip, Afterpay, Klarna and Humm, Mainak developed the necessary requirements to facilitate payment through these providers. This included supporting the back-office functionality and settlement process. The end result was that Winning Group were able to offer increased diversity of payment methods to its clients, helping the company access revenue streams that may not have been otherwise possible.
Tech Mahindra (Optus) - Billing & Customer Care Middleware Upgrade
Mainak spearheaded the development of a new middleware platform to streamline integration for Optus. Mainak, as ‘engineer zero’, built a team of ten developers and helped ramp up competencies and skills, mentoring the new hires at the same time as solution designing for Optus. The new middleware platform was based on Camel / JBoss Fuse to replace legacy OSB. Mainak was responsible for the solution architecture and led application development for the new middleware created on SOAP and LDAP, along with REST and RPC integration for legacy and third-party systems.
