Catapult - Performance Application
As the only mobile lead, Guy led a team that built functionality within the Catapult One App to improve the coach and athlete experience around data-informed programming and tracking of performance. Guy helped create a way for the data from matches and training to be better used and communicated between players and coaches, including the use of video analytics. This cloud-driven function has provided a new experience for App users and draws on data in a unique way.
Headcheck - AFL
Guy was the lead developer, who oversaw a small team focused on the HeadCheck application that helps track concussions and walks people through recovery from the injury. Originally HeadCheck was aimed at school children, where coaches were able to share data with parents who could download the app and follow recovery instructions. Since then, the app has also been taken up by the AFL and professional teams to help encourage proactive management of recovery.
